Weirton Elementary School (WES) serves approximately 900 students in preschool through fourth grade. With a focus on educating the whole child and a commitment to “Every Student Matters. Every Moment Counts." Weirton Elementary School builds upon the power of the learning community to develop students who are learners, thinkers, and contributors.

 Not only does Weirton Elementary School offer high-quality programs and curriculum that focus on the development of student problem solving skills and collaboration, but WES also recognizes and values the power of family involvement. WES has a strong tradition of partnering with families as active members of their child’s learning team and the WES learning community.
